Is it just a wording change or did they really change something? The promo email I got today said choose from:

1. Open Bar

2. Specialty Dining

3. Shore excursions

4. Wifi

5. Free guests.

Since when is the beverage package called an open bar? Im going on the sky in october and november and am really looking forward to the open bar concept. I personally like a few choices included in each category. I don't need a ton of fancy choices.

So what is different about this open bar on any other ship than the sky?

It's 100% completely free.

(You just need to book a more expensive fare and then pay 18% of the price.)

It's their way of sidestepping the water/soda issue. Because lets be honest; there was nothing "unlimited" about the UBP!![emoji19]

Have a great day[emoji924][emoji4][emoji106]

Open Bar is just another label for Unquestionable Bad Purchases (UBP) - since it's not: ultimate, unlimited or unrestricted.

You would need a coffee package, a juice package, a soda package, and, a bottle water package - each of them with 18% supplemental charge, whatever the labels are on top, it really can add up fast.

Just look on the web site. It's the same old UBP.

But look at the fine print for the shore excursion credit! THREE INDIVIDUAL CREDITS PER DAY IN BERMUDA? That's way better than the $50 per port for other cruises!

"Choose this option and each stateroom receives a free $50 USD per port Shore Excursion credit, maximum of $200. For Bermuda Cruises, receive three individual $50 USD Shore Excursion credits for every day you're in port. So feel free to snorkel, shop, tour, parasail, swim, or just hang out"

That's poorly worded. It is $50 per day for three consecutive days obviously.
