Dress Code for men on Epic for Specialty Restaurants?

Sailing in few weeks and wanted to know if nice shorts and polo type shirt is acceptable for the specialty restaurants? Are slacks required?

I was on the Escape in June and you are allowed to wear shorts in most of the specialty dining restaurants. The exceptions were Bayamo and Le Bistro, no shorts allowed in those two. Hope this helps.

My Dad wore khaki shorts and a polo with a collar in La Cucina and he was fine.

Sadly lacking and sadly not enforced.. I have seen a UK family in football shirts and long swimming style shorts in Bistro - for a moment I thought I was at Disney Florida during the school holidays :rolleyes:

Whether or not NCL enforces the rule an issue that is best left for another thread, however they are very clear about the dress code whihc can be found in the FAQs

Slacks are required in Le Bistro and the Manhattan Room main dining room.

 

While not required, there are significantly more slacks, far fewer shorts in other specialty restaurants (People make an effort)

I would add to my comment above that they were an exception.. Generally as said above .. people make the effort (especially in Bistro)
