Rome Airport Wine Purchase

We will be flying to Rome with transfer to the ship via HAL. Will we have access to any stores selling wine when we arrive? Delta is our airline from USA. We would like to pick up a couple of bottles of wine to enjoy in our cabin. :D

Probably not, as they usually take you right from the baggage claim to the bus.

Buy it in duty free before your flight leaves the USA!

There are several options within walking distance of where the free port shuttle drops you off in Civitavecchia to buy some wine.

 

Just board the ship and drop your luggage, then head back out and into town. You should have no problem finding a store.

We had about a 45 minute wait in the terminal building after arriving on Delta in Rome before boarding our transfer in May 2016. The agents that met us were helpful and knowledgeable of the airport too. There are various shops along the terminal. I expect you'll have a few minutes to browse the shops.
