Inside vs Oceanview on LOS

I've posted this message on my rol call, but I thought I'd get more responses by posting it here as well, so here it is...

 

We're getting close to departure date and I have the option to upgrade from an inside stateroom (on deck 10 'way' aft) to an ocean view stateroom (on deck 2 'way' forward, just across from the elevators) and are wondering if it would be worth it. I've never been on LOS or any big ships, for that matter, and would like to get some feedback regarding 'motion sickness' and noise levels and any other pros and cons for these cabins. Thanks for your help.

My vote is inside deck 10... Is it a virtual balcony stateroom?

It is difficult to determine if it is "worth it" without knowing the total cost to upgrade.

It wouldn't cost anything, as there was a price reduction on our itinerary. I guess I'm just trying to determine the pros and cons of the two staterooms and decks.

I would take the ability to see the outside world over being in a box any day!

Then I would jump on the OV. I'd much rather have natural light in the stateroom.

I would take the OV - much rather be able to see outside and have the natural light as well inside.

IMO, I would prefer an inside on deck 10, I wouldn't like being that low and forward.

I posted in our roll call. I'd rather stay on deck 10 than drop to deck 2.

How about a PR? There are several available. 6623 and 7297 look good to me.
