So, i'm going on a celebrity cruise and have royal caribbean shares. Can I use the shareholder OBC with a senior rate?

Many thanks in advance,

If you are talking about an over 55 rate the answer is yes definitely.

We have used that combination with success. However, if you add other incentives like like free gratuities or free beverage package, you cannot use the Shareholder bonus.

I have never heard of a senior rate or a loyalty discount. What are these?

Senior rate is for over 55. It isn't always available. Owners of 100shares of RCL stock get an OBC on some cruises. Don't get if another freebie is included in booking like free gratuities

Captain's Club offers a one grade up for the same price. It really doesn't mean much as it usually means the same cabin is just in a different place. It doesn't upgrade you to a veranda or suite.
