AKStafford Posted August 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2016 The Smoke Shack. It's small, in an old train car. But their breakfast was amazing.
lucky cal Posted August 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2016 Not necessarily budget friendly, but we enjoyed both Ray's Waterfront and Chinook's. Menus are somewhat similar, but we thought Ray's had a nicer atmosphere. The halibut was phenomenal in both restaurants. We tried to visit Smoke Shack but they seem to close pretty early, or at least they did the night we wanted to go there. Seward is a great little town. mapleleaves Posted August 26, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2016 Thornes's Showcase Lounge, which is in town, not at the harbor. Excellent halibut and chips; one serving will feed 2, about $20. Its a smokey locals place. Go early before it gets busy, or, get it to go....theres a gazebo 2 blocks away on the waterfront.

jamminlion Posted August 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 27, 2016 Seward Brewing was very good, as was Cristo's.
Northern Aurora Posted August 29, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 29, 2016 We won't make it down to Seward this summer, but generally drive down each summer. Both Ray's Waterfront and Chinooks have been long time favorites for seafood; both are very good with lovely views of the small boat harbor but I was forced to select one over the other I slightly prefer Ray's to Chinooks. Last summer we had a lovely meal at the Seward Brewing Company. It has been several years since we have dined at Cristos, but have enjoyed their fare as well.
