What happens if there's a no show traveller?

Recommended Posts

So, I have an upcoming sailing that's me and (just) a friend who's not too sure if she can go.

Losing the fare is not an issue and she'd rather keep the booking on the increasingly small change of being able to go. It's past refund time anyway.

But, what could that mean for me if she is a no-show on embarkation day? Same reservation, same stateroom. I am 100% going, for sure.

It doesn't affect you, at all. The cabin is paid for...they don't care if no one shows! Her port fees will be refunded to whatever means she paid with. You will simply have the cabin to yourself!

The only issue is if the cabin is in HER name....if it's in YOUR name, no problem.

Nothing will happen to you if she is a no show, except you may end up getting double C&A points for the cruise. Whichever credit card paid for the cruise will get a refund for taxes.
