Aft Oceania suite on marina

Yes, you'd have noticed it! Housekeeping were really good at cleaning each morning, but the furniture would have a noticeable (and transferable!) black sprinkle of soot, sometimes splodges of soot. Some days were better than others.

We have spent 28 days in the after Oceania Suites, and never noticed any soot at all. The housekeepers place white towels and covers on the chairs and loungers (we asked for a second lounger), if there was any soot, it would have been extremely obvious.

So 12010 would be good Jim/Stan? probably one of three of the Oceania suites to avoid noise above? We have this one on hold with our agent..We are off to a travel show next week and Oceania will be there and we could get some 'extras'. I heard the obc will be reduced on October 1st...

201233.jpg Anything on the Port Side of the ship is fine, there is ZERO noise or smells from the Culinary Center, and the Massage Suites and Beauty Salon are above you. 12010 is a nice, "middle of the road" compromise.

We were the second occupants of 11083, and the installation paperwork was still in a drawer in the Suite.....it's a Jacuzzi ;)

Thanks you two...but having just watched a you tube video of suite 12012 the jacuzzi looked like a bath to us,couldn't see any jets and hubby not happy.could be make or break. Is the jacuzzi the same on deck 12 as deck 11 ? Your pic looks like a jacuzzi.

All of them are bathtub shaped Jacuzzi tubs, i.e. with jets.

What they don't have is a way to maintain a constant temperature automatically over a length of time.

If one is a sitter and a soaker, it requires fiddling with the taps a bit.

Have booked 12010..Thank you all so much.It has really helped.

Whilst we prefer a big verandah,I just cannot risk whingeing about noise above from the terrace restaurant .On our recent 'hot' cruise, the tables were really crammed in and so constantly being pulled around.

We got $1000 obc,£200 off already reduced agent price as travel show benefit and free gratuities. Also price guarantee should the price lower before we sail.

Very happy.

Again,thank you.👍
