trackstarsmom Posted September 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2016 Is the casino still offering free bottled water if you have a casino card?
arlodog Posted September 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2016 Yes, they had it in June at least! A great perk since they stopped allowing us to bring it on board. We always brought on a 6 pack and carried a bottle off ship with us on port days....now I guess I will just get it from the casino the night before. Rare BirdTravels Posted September 5, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2016 Yes. Make friends with the casino bartender. We were on a cruise last month and every time we ordered a drink at night, he would add on a bottle of water. We actually had to make trips back to the room to drop off the water before continuing on with our evening.

monkeybone Posted September 5, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 5, 2016 Just off the BA and no problem getting waters from the casino. I also asked for a few cans of ginger ale to bring to the cabin.
luvcruzing Posted September 5, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 5, 2016 You all do know that NCL reads these boards and reports back to the higher ups, right? The correct response to the poster's question is yes, with no additional information, especially considering recent events.

I just read that no more liquids allowed on NCL..I used to bring diet coke and water in checked luggage. Is anyone finding a way around such nonsense? If you drink you two allowed wine bottles, and not bring them to dinner, do they still charge you corkage fee??
hawkeyetlse Posted September 6, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 6, 2016 If you drink you two allowed wine bottles, and not bring them to dinner, do they still charge you corkage fee??You are thinking of a different cruise line, perhaps Princess, that allows two bottles of wine per stateroom with no corkage fee. On NCL you have to pay corkage on every bottle you bring on board. It doesn't matter where you drink it.

Is anyone finding a way around such nonsense? No. Please comply with the restrictions. If you drink you two allowed wine bottles, and not bring them to dinner, do they still charge you corkage fee?? You must pay corkage on all wine brought onboard, regardless of where it is consumed. Do not put it in your checked luggage,,, it will result in your luggage being confiscated and stored in security until you claim and pay for the wine (i.e. you will spend part of your first night on the ship in security). You need to handcarry the wine on board and pay the corkage as soon as you go through port security. Have a good cruise.
