Flying out of Vancouver

We're sailing on the Infinity next July out of Vancouver. The ship arrives at Vancouver on a Sunday at 7am. I know the general rule of thumb is to book a flight leaving at noon, but what is the earliest, reasonable, departure out of Vancouver International for the U.S.?

Call Celebrity and see what they are recommending. Frankly,, noon seems reasonable to me. There is no highway to the airport, it's all surface roads, heavily traveled. You have to pass through US customs and immigration at that airport, which takes extra time.

Last year disembarking the Millenium we were at YVR by 8:30 am using early walk-off and catching a waiting taxi with no line. That was on a Sunday morning and of course there was no traffic.

While this won't directly answer your question. We walked off Millie at 9:20am on a Friday, we were the only ship at Canada place. Our car (Aerocar) picked us up at 9:40 and we were at our gate before 11am.

 

Our longest line was at Alaska Air check in counter, Delta also had long lines. There will likely be 1-2 other ships on a Sunday in July and longer lines at US Immigration as well. Even disembarking earlier I wouldn't feel comfortable booking a flight before 11:30am

We are leaving the Infinity in June of next year. Seems the flights that leave Vancouver to go to Florida depart Vancouver either at 9:20 am or 11 pm. There is not good option for returning home.
