Bath bombs in Suite Tubs? Ok or not?

I don't want to make a huge mess but love long baths - is it approved to bring bath bombs or does that mess up the water treatment system onboard? Or does NCL provide bubbles for suites? I stayed in a Gem suite last cruise but think I didn't have bubbles.

I can't imagine how a bath bomb would cause a problem with the water system. Aren't they basically made of the same stuff in bath salts. I know some have some floaty flower thingies, but even that should not cause a problem going down the drain just like it is not an issue at home.

Owners Suite on Star...heading to Panama Canal...ecologically proper bath ball. Get in tub. Put on the jets. Suddenly bubbles waaay higher than top of tub. At that point the bubbles are stiff enough that the "wall" holds initially. I pull the plug to reduce the level. Husband takes picture. He grabs every towel in the Suite, laying them along tub edge. Jump into robe and we push enough bubbles out that we can deal with the rest. Took a long time. We were laughing our heads off. Called Butler who brought pile of new towels and steward cleaned it all up. Lesson learned!!!

I used one in our tub on Escape. But it wasn't a very colored or glitter one. I broke it in half and used it twice. But the 2 bed tubs don't have jets.

I love baths but generally use bath salts to avoid bubbles. You leant that lesson very quickly jets and bubbles do not get along.
