Escape - Open Balcony Dividers?

The official answer is "no" it is not allowed.

 

That being said, talk with your room steward(s) and ask them nicely to open the divider. They will probaby do it. Ask them to keep it open throughout your cruise. When you are in port, the crew sometimes open the divider so they can walk the length of the ship (figuratively) and wash down the balconies and railing. They will close the dividers as they get done.

We were on Escape on 8/20 with connecting cabins on deck 8. After meeting our room steward, my first request was to open the balcony divider, which he said "no problem" and did it right away. It made a big difference given the small size of the regular balconies.

I also was on the Escape Aug. 20. Deck 14. No issues to open the divider. It was brilliant to be able to go room to room without going into the hallway.

We then didn't have to worry about trying to get into each others room, since your sea card is only programmed for one door.

Wow, such respect for rules.

 

 

 

I figured some snarky individual would have a smart a$$ comment. Grow up. The point is the rule is not consistent and we had 3 cabins together if we wanted to sit together and socialize and then close it who is that affecting no one.
