Public bus in Grand Cayman question

or in other words your US $10 = $8CI

The above is almost correct. I'm probably adding in way too much math, but in case someone is paying close attention... (I'm a math person and it's even confusing to me.)

 

$1 US = $0.80 CI as Capt BJ says.

 

That means that $1.25 US = $1 CI.

 

So, if prices are in CI, then you have to add 25% to get the US cost.

 

Bus cost: $2.50 US = $2 CI

 

Bottom line, prices are high in Grand Cayman---except for the bus :).

We will be in GC on Jan. 25th on Carnival Vista if everything goes as planned. This will be our 3rd stop there and we've done the extensive tour so we're hoping to just take a ride to Hell to send postcards and spend a little time in that area. There will be 5 of us, all adults. Is the bus the best way to do this? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
