School Break?

Is there a school break I don't know about the week of 10/1-10/8?

Some people have a week long fall break. My kid's school district does. However, since I planned this cruise last year and they moved the fall break after it being the same week for the last few years, my kids will be missing school for our cruise. Ours is 10/8-10/15 though.

Depends on where you are talking about. School holidays are different all over the world.

Our kids are on Fall break that week here in in NE Georgia. I believe Atlanta is as well. We always cruise during this time due to the full week off of school;)

Some New York and New Jersey area schools have off from school October 3rd and 4th for Jewish Holidays and October 10th for Columbus Day and the 12th for another Jewish Holiday. I imagine there will be more kids on cruises maybe leaving from New York those weeks.

On one of this Disney World forums I am on, they have a list of all the state/other Countries school breaks.

i discovered that info by accident when i was booking and moved to week of 10/16. if there are any major holidays i missed, then ill be adding them to a master thread upon my return :)
