dritan Posted September 28, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 28, 2016 Hi I'm going on the Musica shortly but also trying to convince my mum to take an MSC cruise next April and get it booked soon. Is there any chance you could photograph a dinner menu and upload ( just one would be great). There's very little out there and most of it is for the MSC Divina - which is a slightly different more Americanised food selection. I would like to alleviate her concerns - as she's not a pasta eater :-) Hope you are having a great time BTW.
Capricruiser Posted September 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 28, 2016 I'll be boarding the Musica in a couple weeks but don't need to know anything. Been there, done that.

Rare Beamafar Posted September 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 29, 2016 Canadian lobster available every night for €19 +15% surcharge. Interesting ................. I was on Sinfonia 4 weeks ago. The lobster was €21 - no surcharge - and included a glass of Prosecco Superiore DOCG "Aneri". You could also get T-Bone Steak Fiorentina with a glass of Brunella di Montalcino "Col d'Orcia" for €18 which we had one night - again, no surcharge. Bollinge Posted September 29, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted September 29, 2016 Suspect surcharge is VAT on an intra-EU cruise. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare Beamafar Posted September 29, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 29, 2016 I don't think so ............... I was also on an EU route

Rare electro Posted October 3, 2016 #12 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Hi, i'd like to know the difference in the wine selection for the Allegrissmo and the Primium Allegrissmo packages. Is the a bar menu or wine list that will show what is included in each package? Thank you very much Lois
Rare Beamafar Posted October 4, 2016 #13 Share Posted October 4, 2016 (edited) Hi,i'd like to know the difference in the wine selection for the Allegrissmo and the Primium Allegrissmo packages. The basic package offers a choice of 2 reds, 2 whites, 2 sparkling - 1 dry, 1 sweet and a rosè. The premium offers a wider selection. Is the a bar menu or wine list that will show what is included in each package? Any wines that are offered 'by the glass' on wine lists are covered in the premium including in the dedicated wine bar (on Fantasia class ships). There are tabs on the bottom right-hand corner of the wine lists - choose the apt one and the wines are listed on that page. Thank you very much Lois Hope that's of some help. I get the premium package for the better wine selections - especially the reds: Cicogna, Regale and the Leonardo chianti are my favourites. I've tried most of the whites and didn't care for any of them, though I haven't tried the Woodbridge chardonnay. Champagne by the glass is also included in the premium package from the bars and lounges so you can have champagne cocktails and also a range of premium spirits & cocktails - there's a "Mixology" cocktail list in the specialist cocktail bar which is covered, too. Bollinge Posted October 6, 2016 Author #15 Share Posted October 6, 2016 Bollinge, who is the current captain and the cruise director on the Musica right now. Jimmy was the CD and I don't recall the Captain's name as I only met him once, but he is from Sicily and he has the same surname as the Chief Engineer, although they are not related.
