San Francisco Pier 27 Port-to-Airport Shuttles

If you look over on the West Coast Departures board, here:

your transport options are discussed frequently. I would NOT expect walk up shuttles to be available at the port. Taxis yes, shuttles no.

 

Thanks CruiserBruce for pointing me in the right direction. I didn't realise there was so much on these boards that I just didn't know about.

I am sure anyone using an airport shuttle at the Pier in San Francisco, has pre ordered.... there are plenty of taxis though. We always do a taxi, we live about 10 miles south of the airport, generally costs about $120 for a taxi.

You can preorder something like "super shuttle" or it's town car division, "Execucar."

Some folks will suggest Uber. Given the various issues with this service, I'd pass on that option.

 

BTW, why waste an airfare? Stay in SF for a few days. Great city for tourism.
