k2 Posted October 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2016 I was looking at the current pricing on some of the cruises and when I try to go through the booking process to look at room location options. I can only get room type then the booking asks for guest information without room number assigned... Am I missing something?
Biker19 Posted October 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2016 (edited) That would normal with GTY booking (cabin assigned later), otherwise you should have a cabin assigned. Look up your sailing on RCI's UK site and pick the cabin you want, then book that on the US site. Again, this assumes you are not booking a GTY like Z, Y, X category. Pstreet12 Posted October 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2016 And the price will change--sometimes significantly--if you pick the cabin.
Nanook8861 Posted October 16, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 16, 2016 When I play around pretending to book a cruise the US RCI site always gives me a room choice of the Port side first. Is the Starboard side better so it offers me the port side? The reason I act like I book is to check the prices of other cruise dates. It keeps me occupied while I wait my 130 plus days for my Independence of the Seas cruise to Cozumel in March 2017. We will be in room 7590 Balcony portside. :D
