Self serve laundry.

It's only $15 to have a full bag of laundry done for you if that is something you're interested in. Personally it is worth a few extra bucks to avoid doing chores while on vacation :)

FYI. The washers and dryers now accept your S&S card for payment. You no longer need quarters.

It varies on the ships ... the newer ships take the S&S card, the older ones still require quarters.

FYI, you can get quarters at Guest Services, no need to carry them around :)

We get laundry as a perk but I am very hesitant to send some items. While I have read several posts here on CC that say they just write on the bag cold water only I am not that trusting. Additionally the dryers are commercial and dry at high heat. Lastly, on three different ships, hubby did the "Behind the Fun" tour. He asked and was told that everything goes in a mesh bag and is washed with multiple other bags in hot water and dried in a similar manor. While I will send some items out to the laundry and others to the dry cleaner there are still a few things I will do myself on longer sailings.

Sometimes it can be busy. I hate when the people don't watch the time and just leave their laundry in the machines for hours.

I just take it out and put it on top, or off to the side.

Pretty selfish to think you are the only one out of 4500 that needs to use the machines. I watch the time like a hawk and remove it promptly.

Frustrating!
