3red7s Posted October 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2016 This will be my 1st experience with a ship that stays in port overnite, on the POA in Hawaii. Is the ship open for entry 24/7? If I choose to stay on the island for a late dinner/drinks, can I get back on? Also, if I choose to get off the ship at 5:00 am, can I do that? merinski Posted October 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2016 Does this include the day you board too? We are boarding in Honolulu and the ship stays over night and the next day. We would like to board, then go back off and explore. Will that work? They don't offer any tours that day, so not sure.
CruiserBruce Posted October 24, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2016 (edited) Yes. But you are obviously not sailing POA, as POA doesn't overnight in Honolulu. Edited October 24, 2016 by CruiserBruce

cb at sea Posted October 25, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 25, 2016 Your ship is like a hotel on overnight stays...as long as you are ON the ship when it leaves....there is no problem...come and go at will!
pattyj 1204 Posted October 26, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 26, 2016 Yippeee no curfew!! Just like when we were teens and turned 20. Oh what fun we can have. Now I'm too old to enjoy the freedoms, tired out by 11pm :( LOL Looking forward to what is available and fun to do.

Moose12345 Posted November 11, 2016 #10 Share Posted November 11, 2016 If you would like to do a tour the first day you board the ship, I highly recommend Discover Hawaii Tours or Roberts Hawaii Tours. We booked a few tours with both companies and they are great. :)
