When are ships re-arranged

Every few years they move some ships around. At some point they will figure out the value of having a ship in NY and decide if they are better off with larger or smaller ship or staying with same capacity.

Their competition sees the value of having new ship in NYC and always wonder why Carnival feels differently.

We feel the same way. Hoping they will put the Horizon in NYC. Only thing better would be to move the home port to Bayonne to cut down on parking fees and to have cheers first day :).

I do not believe they have ever brought a new ship to NYC. Parking fees in NYC do add up real quick.

The two times we have cruised out of NYC we parked in NJ and took bus in.

no no no no..leave bayonne alone with the RCCL ships, it is slightly harder for use city folks to get across the river (taxis are more money when crossing the NY/NJ border)

the Vista is doing 2 unique cruises out of NYC which is a new ship. Carnival also did unique cruises with new ships like the Dream and others
