scott4020 Posted October 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2016 We are doing a 6 day cruise on the CP and are interested in the Chefs Table. Will the have one on a 6 day cruise? Is there a discount if you have purchased the drink package? Thanks
jennybenny Posted October 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2016 Not sure on the 6 day cruise having a chef's table, but there will not be a discount for AIBP. We enjoyed doing Chef's table. We've done it twice and enjoyed the experience both times. However, once the main entree comes, we are so full we cannot eat any more :(
Rocknie Posted October 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2016 We have been fortunate to be selected for the a chef table our last three cruises. From what we understand, if there is enough interest from passengers who ask to be put on the wait list then they will have the dinner. On our last cruise (10 days) there were three chef table meals. Obviously if there is not enough interest there will not be a chef table. If there are more passengers on the wait list, but not enough for a second evening... they apparently draw names. To have your named put on the wait list simply call DINE once you are on the ship. They will then notify you if you have been selected. One problem we ran into was a conflict with an evening we had scheduled an UBD. The chef table was scheduled for the same evening... a quick call to DINE explaining our conflict was resolve by moving our UBD... there were very accommodating. As Scott4020 pointed out... there is a lot of food and wine so remember to pace yourself 😊😊😊😊😊😊! It is a wonderful evening.

We've done it twice and enjoyed the experience both times. However, once the main entree comes, we are so full we cannot eat any more :( Believe the OP is asking if the price of the Chef's Table will be reduced because of having the AIBP, because the Chef's Table does include some champagne and wines with dinner. So, I think this is the question. Is there a reduced price for a chef's table if you have the AIBP, since you already paid for the alcoholic beverages? Believe the answer is no, but not certain. Also, the wines served may or may not be those that are available by the glass using the AIBP for $10 or under. They could be the more expensive bottles that you would have to purchase for 40% off.
