Yes they should be, within a day or two of setting off. But you can't collect them until the day before you get back. You may find cheaper ashore, so don't order too early :)

As stated the only duty free you can purchase on board now is handed over on the last day.

The only way of getting drink in your cabin is either using the mini bar that is now set up in cabins (chargeable) or taking it onboard with you.

Don't know what the mini bar prices are . You cannot purchase large bottles via the room steward any more.

The fridge was not set up as a mini bar on our recent cruise on Britannia 9-21 October so is not on every ship must be trialling it on 1 or moe but not all.

H M Customs are usually very alert to people returning from the Canaries due to their special status and the problem of smuggling from these islands

Alcohol is very cheap in the canaries, e.g a bottle of good named brand vodka or gin around 9 Euros for a litre and very easily available. Tobacco and cigs also very cheap.

Can confirm that Mini Bar is not in operation on Ventura either.

Azura had the mini bar last month. I only used one bottle if water which I wasn't charged for (we did usually get a free bottle so must have been why we weren't charged. It wasn't clear though) and i did eat the pringles which were about 80p! Last of the big spenders me [emoji4]

Can confirm that Mini Bar is not in operation on Ventura either.

 

It was on our recent cruise on Ventura, (18/09/16-02/10/2016).

Interesting - no mini bar in our cabin on the previous Ventura cruise (12 Sept. to 18 Sept.) :confused:
