Cabin choice

Hi fellow travellers looking at booking cabin midship on deck 1 on queen E question is do passengers use this route to get to the theatre - just thinking about passing traffic and noise in the corridor - thanks

Not sure about theater goers but those halls are used to take tour groups off the ship when the groups meets in the theater. Usually on starboard side.

 

At least that was my experience on QV during my World Voyage.

We were on deck 1 on Q V this year. We never heard people passing outside our door.

We've got no issues with our inside deluxe cabin on deck 1. In fact we are going to switch a booking for a future cruise so that we get this cabin again. It's so spacious! It has a huge sofa, it could seat 4 people easily, a small armchair and so much floor space. Recommended!

We've got no issues with our inside deluxe cabin on deck 1. In fact we are going to switch a booking for a future cruise so that we get this cabin again. It's so spacious! It has a huge sofa, it could seat 4 people easily, a small armchair and so much floor space. Recommended!

 

Other people might have more knowledge but I think with you being in the UK, you might have to pay a fee of £50 to do that.

Thanks Ray, we haven't got around to asking yet. We wouldn't bother if there was a fee, the other cabin we have booked is very similar just not quite as spacious.

It's a GB category. Inside deluxe deck 1 midships.

 

Our travelling companions have a GA category. It's not quite as big (2 seater sofa, no chair) but the location is supposed to be better.

 

We have a GA booked next year.

 

The only downside is that the engine hum is more noticeable through the interior wall. It might bother some people.

Thanks. Based on the ship's deck plan, GB and GC are indeed bigger, GA is smaller but located on decks 6 & 8. Hopefully the engine noise is not too bad....it's our first time in an inside cabin.

Hi what number cabin are you in ? Does the additional bed in the roof cause any issues

1063. No problems from the bed, it's locked into the ceiling above the sofa bed.
