Smart Check-In?

Is it really smart? Another one of the planning things that come along with the big new ships appears that you need to check in the second you make final payment. I was waiting as I normally do and now see that they arrival time is 1:30PM! I HAVE NEVER been to a port this late.

 

Has anyone shown up (say 3 hours before their time) and been told NO? My hope it's like the board by deck trick they try and they actually don't care. I guess I'll find out soon but another thing that adds stress.:mad:

I've showed up early for my last 3 cruises (between 10:30 and 11), and they've never prevented us from checking in and boarding as soon as the process starts (and I'm a lowly platinum).

:confused: They ask you to check in at a certain time (which BTW you can ignore) and that causes stress?

We turn up at the port when it is convenient for us.

 

Last Allure cruise it stated 2:30 if I recall.

We were in the city so turned up at 11:30, no problems at all.
