upwarduk Posted November 20, 2016 #26 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Philip Herbert, Capt Smith, Russ Greaves, Ryzard, Heike etc. Philip Herbert apparently was Head of Guest Relations on Constellation. So he had good training before joining Azamara.

Rare uktog Posted November 20, 2016 #28 Share Posted November 20, 2016 He was Hotel Director on Celebrity Century when I was on back in 2007. And Heike was Hotel Director on Summit in 2006. firstforty2012 Posted November 21, 2016 #29 Share Posted November 21, 2016 We have over 20 with Celebrity but enjoy Azamara more if the value makes sense. We have been on HAL 3 times and find HAL ships inconsistent in terms of quality. We prefer X if there is a choice between the two.

LuAnn Posted November 23, 2016 #32 Share Posted November 23, 2016 and we have decided never again a T/A on X....while we have been loyal followers of X and AZ...we had not done a T/A on X for a number of years...and TBH...it was a ZOO with all the "Elite and Elite Plus" members...us included in this mix..as we are Elite Plus on X. So....we have decided that AZ and O will be our "go to" for T/As in the future...we have X booked for Asia next spring and for AZ/NZ for '18...but our 2 next T/As are on AZ...fall of "17 and "18. We love the staff, the size of the ship and our shipmates!!!! Will be great to be "back home again" on AZ next November!!! LuAnn
