Jewel of the Seas Aft Cabin

We have never had an aft cabin and looking at the Jewel heading to the Southern Caribbean. I have googled pictures etc but Im looking for the experts.

Is it better to get one of the corner extended balconies or are the middle cabin balconies better because they are deeper? We are looking at a D1.

I don't think 9256 is available but 8168 and 7172 are for corners. Also the deck plans for 2018 doesn't show these rooms as having the extended balcony but all current pictures look like they do.

 

We traditionally book hump balcony cabins.

We have had aft cabins on Radiance, Jewel and Rhapsody. Loved them all. None were corner aft but with just two of us it did not matter as the ones we had were plenty big enough for loungers.

Yes 8168 and 7172 have wide balconies (similar to 9256). of the two - 8168 is preferred. 7172 is not as deep and it is over the lounge. We are in 9256 again next week. I have been in 8168 and enjoyed the wider view very much,

We loved the #8168 and of course the #1100....always a corner aft when available.

We have sailed in JS 1100 and Balcony cabins 9256 and 8168 on Jewel and Serenade. They all have the extra large balconies. Book any of them and be happy you got it.
