Just about to book suite 1100 for the Panama and have very much appreciated the sticky with all the wonderful advice on the cabins. Initially these cabins were recommended, but recently there has been some reservations about the noise re the outside movie theater. Two questions....are the movies played nightly? And secondly, we've always booked Concierge cabins, is there much of a difference with Aqua class?

We have had cabin 1114 & 1116 before the movies were on deck 12. We loved our cabins. With the M Class deck 11 have balcony that can open to the next cabin. One deck down to the bar and food. The back stairs are nice for getting to aft 11 deck with the bar. The other thing is your near the elevators to take you right down to Blu. Am I a big fan of Blu no, but a fan yes. I enjoy the atmosphere, the serves and the food is very nice. The thing about Blu and Luminae is. If you show up to dinner about the same time every night they seem to put you with the same staff. That can be very nice.

There has been talk on CC about the movies. It seems to not be a problem. Lets see what others have to say.

Last August we stayed in cabins 1110 and 1112 for an Alaskan cruise. We did not notice any outside movie noise, but did have a problem with the fact that the entire deck was not covered / inside. Several days it was so rainy and miserable that we couldn't go outside on deck 11 to get to the bow of the ship, which made getting to the Constellation Lounge very inconvenient. To avoid going outside, we had to go down at least two decks, walk the length of the ship and then go back up again.

We were traveling with someone who had limited mobility, so this may have been a bigger problem for us than it will be for you. Also, hopefully your weather in Panama would be more pleasant than ours in Alaska. However, based on our experience, I would not stay on deck 11 again if I had another choice.

We were in 1132 and could hear the movie while on our balcony.. It was not loud though . There was one in the afternoon and one in the evening. We quite liked the location as loved dashing out the door down the steps to the buffet for snacks we didn't need
