carnivaladdix120 Posted December 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2016 We were on sailing a few Super Bowls ago and the only place I saw it being televised was in the sports bar, but it's possible they showed it on the outdoor large screen. Not sure about in the cabins either, sorry :) I am curious tho so can't wait to see the other responses.

hapytobehr Posted December 6, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2016 Depending on where the ship is located,(signal) since the super bowl is on a main channel (i.e. CBS, NBC, Fox or ABC)...you would be able to see it in your room.
Cruzin2paradise09 Posted December 6, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2016 Was on the Triumph a few years ago (2013?) and it was on the big screen on the Lido deck. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
evandbob Posted December 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted December 6, 2016 I've been on two ships the Triumph in 2006 the Glory this year that showed the Super Bowl in the main theater.
BallFour4 Posted December 6, 2016 #7 Share Posted December 6, 2016 The Super Bowl is everywhere. The big screen, sports bar and the main show lounge. On the Magic last year they delayed the Welcome Aboard Show until after the game. The booth type seats went fast, so dash in there right after muster. There was great munchies on the buffet and my wife and I took turns going to get food. Full bar wait staff in the lounge too! SadieN Posted December 6, 2016 #9 Share Posted December 6, 2016 Hard to avoid seeing the Super Bowl onboard. Was on the Miracle last year for Super Bowl and it was shown everywhere. Year before we were on Princess, similar set-up.

10Jan54 Posted December 6, 2016 #11 Share Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) We have been on many cruises for super bowl and it was on everywhere. Some areas have some great football type snacks, we have even had drink specials. Why stay in your room, you are on vacation! RHilla619 Posted December 6, 2016 #12 Share Posted December 6, 2016 Was onboard the fantasy last year for the college football playoffs (semifinals) and it was on and celebrated all over the ship. They had flags hung up for each school, and drink specials for the team colors, pretty cool environment especially sailing out of Charleston with a TON of Clemson fans. Now normally sports are limited to the Sports Bar because that is the only place they televise ESPN, but this years Superbowl is on CBS so I would think it will be on in your room as well. swscruiser Posted December 7, 2016 #13 Share Posted December 7, 2016 Been on several cruises on Superbowl Sunday including Carnival, Games have been on in Sports Bar, Casino, Main Theater, and in cabins on all lines. not always the American network Feed so no superbowl commercials. also somewhere on board there have been snacks available during the game. also went to dining room so we could meet our tablemates for the rest of the cruise and there were maybe 50 people in the entire dining room so we left and watched the rest of the game in the theater.:)

Icecat Posted January 5, 2017 #17 Share Posted January 5, 2017 not always the American network Feed so no superbowl commercials. Last year on our ship the feed was from ESPN Latin America. Learned everything I needed to know about the West Indies Cricket tournament from the ads.

Sent from my SM-P550 using Forums mobile app That may be, but on Carnival Caribbean cruises, they usually pick up a signal from Miami based stations. The Super Bowl will usually be broadcast to the ship by the US national channel that goes through Miami.
