How is this even worthy of a thread? We spend a couple of thousand on the cruise fare. Hundreds for airfare and cabs. More for clothes, toiletries, etc.

 

An extra 50 cent for water doesn't even register.

For some bottled water, sure, but for spring water and mineral water there can be a difference. As I said, my DW doesn't like water at all and she actually liked and drank the bottled water offered by CCL. That says a lot right there. Consumers do need to know the source of bottle water before buying it to make sure it isn't just purified tap water, which can be made with a Britta pitcher.
