Money on the Carnival Fascination

This is a "Sail & Sign" Card question. Questions actually.

We have two rooms.

One room has two unrelated 20 something friends. Is there a way for them to have separate accounts?

They both will be using cash. Is there a kiosk for them to add money onto their accounts instead of waiting in the guest services line?

At the end of the cruise, can you get the reminder of your money back without getting it in the form of a check?

Does your account allow for over drafting? So if you put so much money in your account, is it possible for you to go over that amount?

If there is a kiosk onboard, what else can it do?

One room has two unrelated 20 something friends. Is there a way for them to have separate accounts? Absolutely. You can set it up that way when you check in online or you can even change it when you check in at the port.

They both will be using cash. Is there a kiosk for them to add money onto their accounts instead of waiting in the guest services line? As far as I know, there are kiosks on all Carnival ships. They can add cash there or add it at the port when the check in (YMMV on the second, some port won't do that).

At the end of the cruise, can you get the reminder of your money back without getting it in the form of a check? You can go to the kiosk on the last night and withdraw any remaining balance. Be prepared to stand in line.

Does your account allow for over drafting? So if you put so much money in your account, is it possible for you to go over that amount? Nope. They will cut you off on additional spending until you add more money to your account.

If there is a kiosk onboard, what else can it do? You can add/withdraw money from your S&S account, view your S&S transactions/balance, and change larger bills into smaller.

yes you can go over.

spending is not put on the card at the exact moment.

so say if you stop and got a drink then went to the casino for 20 bucks in the slots then stopped at the store to spend 10.00 putting you 5.00 in arrears-- it will not list it as over because that drink you got earlier has not hit your accoutn

very true!.. make sure you keep a daily tab on your bill. things can get hit twice.. or take till next day to hit.

also by 3rd day in..you WILL be hit for all your ship Gratuities

$175 plus.. so be ready for that...:D

I've also not experienced "lag" with charges posting. It's instantaneous as soon as the charge is rung in. That's also logical with today's technology to avoid just the problem serene56 surmises with running around the ship spending to excess of a cash account deposit.
