LB fog delay today

Anyone know what time LB got out of Galveston today? This morning at 8 AM both Carnival and LB were in dense fog. I looked about 11 AM and both were gone, thankfully. However, the cam that shows the ocean side of the island was still showing some pretty dense fog.

Marinetraffic shows her outside the bay around an hour ago.

I watched them sail out about 1pm. And I mean that window in which they left was super tiny. My guess is it was only about 30 minutes. Really dense fog rolled right back in not more than 10 to 15 minutes after they left. Crazy.

I'm on her now. We followed Carnival Breeze out, watched her disappear into the fog as we reached the north end of the island, and have been in the soup ourselves ever since. Sounds like we were lucky!

 

Our itinerary has changed from Cozumel-Belize-Roatan to Costa Maya-Roatan Cozumel.

We finally broke out of the fog around 5pm. Overnight fog horns are something I can live without!!
