lovecruisingtoo Posted December 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2016 Let's just hope they don't "overgrow" in a short period of time like they did when they acquired the SB ships. Service went down significantly and it is taking time to get some of the loyal alumni back.

milepig Posted December 31, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2016 Thx for the links. I was hoping for new news, much of these repeats what we'd already heard from WS. Unless I missed it, no mention of river cruises that we've been hearing rumors about, for example. There is mention of looking at ships, both new and repurposed. I don't get the "two different kinds of ships" language. This is a reversal, as WS has tried very hard to make them as similar as possible. We've been on every ship and apart from a different configuration and lack of sails, the experience is essentially identical. I wonder if they've had a bunch of negative comments. milepig Posted December 31, 2016 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2016 Service went down significantly and it is taking time to get some of the loyal alumni back. Do you have stats on this, or are you speculating? We've been on several itins since the growth and yes, it was rough in spots. But, every itin has been chockablock with alums. ducklite Posted January 1, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2017 I actually like that they seem to be finding an appropriate purpose for each ship. One of the triplets would be great in Alaska. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
