We are flying out from Gatwick to Barbados in March 2017 to board Britannia, re-positioning.

Booked on Thomson flight, seats 1A & 1C decided to book premium

economy, can someone please answer the following questions:

1. Will we be able to use the Thomson lounge in Gatwick as part of the upgrade?

2. Anyone seated in the above seats previous? What did you think?

Many Thanks

We have had these seats on the Dreamliner and were happy with them.

As far as know the PE price doesn't include the airport lounge. I find north terminal quieter than south and plenty of nice places to get a breakfast.

Enjoy your flight and cruise

No use of the lounge!!

We had opposite side seats and they are good seats. Only negative is that the crew use your storage space, so don't hang about getting on :D

Also, 1A and 1C are just behind the forward loo, so you may experience a bit more 'traffic' past your seat compared to the other side of the cabin.

The opposite is true, seat 1H and 1J get even more traffic. The flight stewards use this side to access their galleycontinually opening and closing the flimsey curtain, most annoying.

A friend works for BA and was on a customer feedback 787 flight to Austin. He was in front row of business class and the biggest annoyance was flimsiness of the toilet door meant every passenger slammed it.

He ended up moving to the last seat in business class away from the toilet area, so be prepared.
