Dawn Mini suite vs Penthouse w/lg balcony SE

Hi Guys...This may be off topic a little bit. But we are staying in a Mini Suite on the Dawn in 2 weeks. And I have 2 questions, does anyone have pictures of the closet space and or bathroom space? There are 3 women staying in this room and just trying to get an idea of how much space we have. I have been unable to find any pictures that show what I need to see. I have been on cruises before so I know the space is small.

On the Legend, balcony rooms...there were 3 separate small closets as well as plenty of shelf space in the bathroom.

So any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Patti

Sorry I don't have any pics of a mini suite. Have you tried looking on UTube? There are usually videos people post that show what certain cabins look like.

Have fun!

The storage in the mini suites is fine for two but may be tight for three. If only a 1 week cruise u should be fine. We usually do 2 weeks so have a lot more stuff. Definitely bring an over the door shoe holder and put it on your bathroom door. Great for all your toiletries.

If it were me I would take the forward penthouse. Suite perks alone are worth it. We had the aft penthouse on Dawn which was a great cabin.

We had the forward ph on the jewel thru the Panama Canal and it was WONDERFUL!! Private dining room for breakfast and lunch if you choose, priority embarkation, priority disembarkation for tenders, concierge if you'd like it....we handled all reservations ourselves, but he did escort us to the tender once. Your kids will probably love the treats delivered to your suite each afternoon!!

Steel City Cruiser, we're booked on the Dawn in aft ph 10726 in April (NOLA-Boston). It will be first time aft. What can you tell me about those suites? Did they replace the Lavazza coffee machines? It appears slightly smaller than the forward ph based on photos. Our relatives will be next door in 10726....will they be able to open the door between balconies so we can stretch out? Is one balcony large enough for four people? Also, are there enough electrical outlets to charge our cameras, phones, etc? Thanks a bunch!!!

In searching through my photos I realized my aft penthouses were on Pearl and Sky not Dawn. Sorry I confused which cabin was on which ship. Both were corner aft suites. I had a family suite with balcony on Dawn.

I am not sure if the 2016 dry dock for Dawn changed anything with the aft ph's.

I can speak to the cabin/location - loved it! Very little foot traffic, private, a quiet, amazing views, large balcony with loungers and chairs. Slight hum from the engines can be felt especially at night which I didn't mind at all, kind of soothing actually, however I have heard ppl complain about it too.

Tons of storage, wife liked the separate vanity area next to the bathroom and the tub of course.

Balcony was large enough for 4 ppl. I think we had 2 loungers and 2 chairs and 1 small side table. Don't remember if the divider can open but I imagine it would.

We didn't have any problems regarding not having enough outlets.

The coffee machine in suite is awesome. One of my favorite things besides the balcony views.

hope that helps some!

Mark
