Static events Posted January 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) Hi all... We are looking to book a cruise from Southampton and every sailing we look at seems to have a drinks package added. As we are diamond I do not see the value of booking a cruise with a drinks package especially since we don't drink that much. Is there anyway to remove the drinks package therefore making the cruise cheaper? :D Edited January 15, 2017 by Static events
Ken at the beach Posted January 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2017 Not by booking through the UK. Look at booking using a US travel agent.
Biker19 Posted January 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) No, you'll have to find one without the package or book in a different market, like the US, which doesn't offer them. Edited January 15, 2017 by Biker19
Static events Posted January 15, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted January 15, 2017 Not by booking through the UK. Look at booking using a US travel agent. How annoying. I will have to try that. What about RCCL US website?
swoopy2110 Posted January 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2017 See if the cruise has any GTY Cabins available They won't include the drinks package and will be cheaper

Biker19 Posted January 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2017 What about RCCL US website? That will work but you'll have to provide a US address (anyone will do) to proceed through the booking.

As it is a free promotion it might still be worth having plus the is always the GTY option which tends to exclude
PrincessBelle39 Posted January 16, 2017 #11 Share Posted January 16, 2017 I'm in Australia and use a US travel agent. This is the 4th trip I've booked with her and it's been an easy prices each time. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Eleteace Posted January 16, 2017 #12 Share Posted January 16, 2017 I've been looking recently at booking via a US site and it keeps coming up hundreds of pounds more expensive. Think I'll stick with the UK site :-) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
BekkaW Posted January 16, 2017 #13 Share Posted January 16, 2017 I'm in Australia and use a US travel agent. This is the 4th trip I've booked with her and it's been an easy prices each time. Sent from my iPhone using Forums We used to book with a US agent but have found for our last few cruises the low Oz dollar has made US prices not advantageous to us. So we've just been booking onboard to get the OBC (which was a big incentive to US bookings).
