I'm thinking about booking the Breakaway when she comes to Europe next year but have a few questions for all you experts if you don't mind -

 

Cirque - can you use one of your speciality meals here?

 

Ice bar - are kids allowed in?

 

Margaritaville - I know you've to pay for the food but can you use your UBP here?

You can use a SDP credit at Cirque, but there is a surcharge. Look at the T&Qs to see what it is and you can decide whether that's the best use of the credit.

 

The UBP can be used in Margaritaville, or any other restaurant.

There is a upchage ($10 regular and $15 premium seats). If you choose to use your SDP for the Cirque ALWAYS get premium seats. The SDP is better used at an a la carte restaurant,,, and just paying the fixed fee for the Cirque

 

Ice bar - are kids allowed in?

Yes. And they serve kids drinks.

 

Margaritaville - I know you've to pay for the food but can you use your UBP here?

Yes, your UBP works at all restaurants and bars.

Ice Bar was $20 cover, but you get 2 drinks with it. Drinks are VERY sweet--if you drink vodka straight, ask them. But it was fun! It would cost much more on land so it's great to do it at sea.

I cannot speak for the kids since I did not bring mine, but there were older kids there. As far as Cirque, I did not attend that, but hopefully you have found that by now-been a few weeks since I logged in..
