Have not been assigned a cabin yet, however, the E Docs have a GTY designation...any significance to that?

Thanks

GTY stands for "Guaranty" - meaning that you have paid for and are guaranteed a certain cabin category, where you will be assigned your cabin no. at a later time.

GTY=Guaranteed room

If you are lucky, you will get a room assignment quickly. If you are not lucky, you will show up to the port without a room assignment and get it at checkin. Maybe an upgrade. Maybe a room behind a lifeboat next to a club with thumping walls until 3 am.
