Now to my new favorite libation.

The Spicy Margarita.

When it comes to "drinks" Maya Chan really shines.

Like I said earlier, we arrived early in the day, to me it was still "coffee time"

Maya Chan had a pot brewing. None of the other Beaches we visited had coffee.

When "Day Drinking" time came. It was Spicy Margarita time.

The server brought me a perfect margarita with a side dish of crushed peppers. He explained that the bartender couldn't get them to stick to the rim of the plastic cup. I would have to add the crushed peppers as I saw fit.

Now this wasn't ideal but it was good. So I ordered another long with an Oreo-Chan.

When the server returned he handed me a drink with sliced peppers in it. He said that the Bartender had invented a drink just for me and to try it.

It's hard to explain what adding Jalapeño to a Margarita tastes.

The lime balances the spice while the pepper flavor stays in the drink.

Needless to say...a new drink is available at Maya Chan....The Mark-arita.

I still don't know if this really a new drink of not. But I would like someone going to Maya Chan to ask for a Mark-arita.

Oh and the Oreo-Chan tastes better than it looks in the picture. My cookie had sunk.

With that it is time to say Goodbye to Maya-Chan. Just as the rain clouds start to move in.

The Final Day of the cruise is another Sea Day

I pulled myself out of bed early to get pictures around the ship without a lot of people around.

Gorgeous pics of both Harvest Caye and Maya Chan. Do you know I think you might be the first one to post pics of the pool cabanas on HC, been wondering what they are like for ages! Im guessing the signs on the tables say something like 'go away if you haven't booked this'?

We are doing this route in October on the Escape and have booked Maya Chan as well, can't wait!
