Food Allergy...who to contact now?

A few days ago I posted requesting the email for RCCL dining department. I emailed both the dining department as well as the special needs department about a food allergy concern and have heard nothing back. Can anyone recommend who to contact at this point? we sail February 10th, so about 2 weeks from now. My DH suffers from a contact as well as proximity allergy to shellfish and some saltwater seafood. Thank you in advance for any direction. Happy cruising to you all!

If you don't hear by next week, pick up the PHONE and call and ask to speak to the "special needs" dept.

Once on the ship, the head waiter will try and make sure you order a day in advance, so they can accommodate his allergies.

It CAN be done...but you have to stay on top of it!

Wow hope all ones well for you. A proximity allergg is a tough one as for sure others around you willbe eating seafood and shellfish. I'm so glad my DS peanut allergy is easy to manage now

I would call the special needs department directly and discuss your concerns. I know the website says to notify them 45 days prior to sailing if you need special meals. Other requests are supposed to be in 30 days prior to sailing.

I called them yesterday to discuss our needs for our upcoming cruise and they were very helpful.

after this long together and many cruises we have a lot of experience in avoiding possible circumstances. Not only do we not want to encounter a situation of our own to deal with but we also dont want our fellow passengers to have possibly be put out on their vacations as well. We always make an advance effort to inform the cruise line of this particular little hiccup and this is the first time he will be cruising with RCCL, I've never had such a lapse in reply. We dont want any special accommodations, just want to cover all our bases. Thank you both for your quick replies!
