Mini suite vs balcony on Escape

Hi there.

 

While I have already sailed on the Escape on a mid-ship balcony, I'm wondering if there is anyone here who has tried both balcony and mini suite balcony rooms? Do you find the mini suite to be more roomy for the extra cost? I'm looking to travel with my mom and sister, wondering if a mini suite would be a reasonable cabin for 3 gals. From my experience in the mid ship balcony, it would be tight for 3 girls.

The only difference I found was that the mini suite has a bigger bathroom.

Only difference is the bathroom, otherwise the cabin space is identical.

Yep, the main difference is the bathroom. I must disclose, however, that my DW developed a close personal relationship with the shower. She felt the upgrade was well worth it.

The room is exactly the same size. We always book the mini-suites (been on -away class ships 6 times). The extra space in the shower is worth the price.

The only difference I found was that the mini suite has a bigger bathroom.

 

Which includes double sinks in the mini-suite, which is nice.
