Hi I search but could not find the answer to my questions.

1. We are in the Haven .We are traveling with a couple who is not in the Haven. When we get to NY will they allow the non haven couple to embark with us?

2. When we are in port will they allow the non haven to be escorted off of the ship with us? thanks

In regards to #2, the concierge typically does this so they will know the other folks aren't in the Haven. Whether they will do it for you, not sure. At most ports I haven't really seen a need to be escorted off unless maybe you are in Russia to get through customs. The real benefit to the suite disembarking is either at a tender port or the last day.

Thanks dex, I will ask him if it is possible. I just put it out here to see if anyone has done this or experience with this. We have a private tour scheduled and figured it would be easier if we all get off together.

You can all get off together - you don't HAVE to get off using your Haven priority. You can stay with your friends and get off with your friends when they get off the ship.

Yes that is the other option, she uses a wheelchair as well. I just don't know how long it takes to get off some times in port. I just will adjust our time getting off so we are not late meeting the tour guide. thanks for the info

This is what we did on our trip on the Breakaway with people who were not in the Haven but with whom we were sharing an excursion. Worked great. We got to the meeting point (it was the theater that day) and got off with the first group.

NCL understands people who have arranged their own excursions. We checked with Guest Services, explaining our plans, and received direction on where/how early to report to disembark with the first possible non-NCL group. You might be able to the your concierge to get the answer to that question so you don't have to stand in line for that. (Why didn't that occur to me at the time?)

Unfortunately the non-Haven couple cannot embark with you. You will be sent to the Haven Guest embarkation lounge to check in and from there, you will embark. They will have to go to the regular check in lines in order to get their own cruise cards. The Haven Guest Embarkation Lounge would not have your friend's cards. On embarkation you will be taken to the Haven Lounge where your friends cannot go. Of course you are free to leave the Haven lounge if you so choose. You might plan ahead as to where you and your friends might meet after embarkation. Perhaps you would like to meet somewhere for lunch?

Granted this was years ago (before the Haven; the Dream was still sailing for NCL), we were in a suite, my brother and his gf in a balcony. As long as we were all together, the butler and concierge extended all of our benefits to my brother and his gf. It really depends on the concierge. A decent tip at the beginning might help.

If what we were told is true, Elvina (a lady) was to be back from vacation late Jan. so she should be your concierge.

I totally forgot about that. She will have her wheelchair and the disabled guests embark after the suite guests (if I remember correctly), just thought of that as well. I will plan with them on where to meet after embarkation. thank you
