waterlegs Posted January 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2017 Just wondering how much time in advance of leaving port does one have to be back on board usually? This is for Western Med cruise.
blackshirt Posted January 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2017 All aboard time is typically 30 minutes before scheduled departure, could be more. The all aboard time will be posted in the daily cruise compass as well as at the gangway.
Desert Cruizers Posted January 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2017 Generally 30 minutes, keep you watch on ship time. We personally allow ourselves 2 hours so if on a tour, we have time to walk around the port afterwards and be back on board the final 1 to 2 hours to relax. better then rushing back to the ship.:) We also do not book a tour longer then 4, maybe 5 hours again to allow us time back to Port. If we are in port 8 Hours then we won't book a tour lasting 6 hours but that is us.

davekathy Posted January 27, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2017 Also a reminder concerning the all aboard time is made during the morning announcements before getting off the ship.

The exception to this would be if it's a SHIP'S EXCURSION...they WILL get you back on time, unless catastrophe were to happen...with a ship's excursion, you don't need to worry about the time.
