My husband and I are both platinum, and daughter is gold with 73 points. We booked the Sky to get her to platinum before the next cruise (which really isn't needed, but she wanted it so ...) anyway, just saved $2,000 by cancelling the Sky since they changed the tiers.

To answer your question - you are grandfathered at Gold but will need 80 points to be platinum.

Sorry you canceled the Sky. I really enjoy that ship. Thank you very much for your information. I should be getting 21 points for this upcoming cruise. Will that still happen? If not, is it still one point per night? I have six more nights so want to make sure and your dd will just make it on your next cruise is that correct?

Just called...tiers added more points to attain each leveI I was going to be gold with 48 points now I need 55 points...if you book more than 9 months out, you still get the additional point per night.

The addition of Cagneys and Moderno is nice. the only problem here is that we always take a guest each with our vouchers. Now we cannot anymore because it looks like you have to chose a different restaurant for each voucher, oh well. Also the 2nd bottle of wine is now a bottle of sparkling wine in your stateroom(this is definately a worse benefit).

Hi. Is it correct Platinum gets two restaurants now not just one? Thanks so much!

The two restaurants are per stateroom with platinum member, not per guest. One voucher is good for dinner for two at Le Bistro or Cagneys. The other voucher is good at La Cucina or Moderno. One appetizer, one dessert, and the entree cannot exceed $20.

Well, I guess I'm glad I'm platinum plus....and will be forever. The internet minutes will be used for sure and I will drink my 2 bottles of water. But, I will miss the bedtime chocolate. I'll just bring my own Andes mints :) Looks like the ship pins are long gone.
