Goodtime Cruizin Posted February 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2017 Let's talk about Baltic Cruises in this thread. There are very few threads on this subject, most likely because more people cruise the Caribbean vs the Baltics. So please everyone chime in! Especially those with Baltic Cruises experiences. 1. What ship? 2. Cabin per category? 3. Best weather month? 4. Best air travel month? Post away, let's chat it up. I'm trying to learn all I can as we're booking a 2018 Baltic Cruise. Thanks in advance! Gwendy Posted February 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2017 Lots of discussion and information on Ports of call boards, select Europe then your choice of ports. Generally a very port intensive cruise, do your homework so you get to see the things you want. Enjoy.
cruzgryphon Posted February 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2017 I think one of the first things you need to do is get a feel what ports you're interested in in the Baltics. Common ports are Stockholm, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Riga, Talinn. Then I would check the Northern Europe Board on the Ports section. There are also some good guide books on Northern Europe/ Northern Europe cruising - Anne Vipond and Rick Steeves come to mind. Also there are a lot of reviews of Baltic Cruises here in the Royal Caribbean forum. Suggest taking a look at those as they will have a lot of the information you're looking for.
