FLcruiser2011 Posted February 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Do the Azamara ships now have the higher speed internet like what they have on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity? Thanks.
Rare oddjob16 Posted February 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2017 It is a bit unstable in some areas, but the speed is good enough to have a Call on facebook or skype while at sea.
excitedofharpenden Posted February 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Do the Azamara ships now have the higher speed internet like what they have on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity? Thanks. It's better than it was, but it's nowhere near the standard of Voom on Royal Caribbean.

roaming_kiwi58 Posted February 21, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2017 We were on Quest for 26 days in December and the internet was extremely variable, and performance did not appear to relate to whether we were in port or not!
florisdekort Posted February 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 21, 2017 It is a bit unstable in some areas, but the speed is good enough to have a Call on facebook or skype while at sea. Agreed. It's fine for emails with attachments, surfing the web and FaceTime / WhatsApp calls. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rabo Posted February 22, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2017 We're on Journey now. No problem at all with email, web surfing, posting to Facebook (my Facebook name is Jerry Rabinowitz). We've also have FaceTime chats with our grandchildren.
capecodder2 Posted March 6, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 6, 2017 It depends a lot on where you are, what the satellite conditions and locations are, it is amazing how it is transmitted and how it travels from one place to another via satellite. Certainly a lot more difficult than our cable at home. Usually there is an explanation in the daily information, read it and wonder.
