Fast Embarkation on the Getaway...Very Impressed

Our third cruise on the Getaway and we could not believe how quickly we were on board.

Previously we waited with hundreds of others in a holding area waiting for our number to be called.

This time we arrived at the port at 11:20, handed off our bags and waited outside the terminal for about 20 minutes, then quickly thru security and walked right on board, stepped on seven deck at 12:05.

I'm not sure if the improvement is due to the terminal staff and/or NCL, but ,it was a great way to start our cruise:D:D

Our experience was also good a few weeks ago. Debarkation was much worse, unfortunately.

Almost everyone you encounter up to scanning your card to get onto the ship is the local port agent. Glad to hear that things went smoothly.
