Poof...all of a sudden I'm at dinner on an X ship, and I look to my right and there sits DUCK!!

What have you ordered (your favorite X dinner choice)??? Who, from this board, would you love to see on your right?? What would you ask them...??

I'm having creme brule, Duck is on my right (we go WAYYYY back), and I'll ask..."how is Justen"?? Oh and Duck "here's a shift key" ;)

OK, Blazerboy and I have found a lot in common over the last year since I have become a frequent poster.

We both love/loved our Grand Mothers.

We both cruise often as kids.

We both love the Welsh Corgi/ Welsh Corgi/Yoda mixed dogs.:D

I think we would have a blast talking about our dogs, travels, the yacht club (there are no yacht clubs in the High Desert of AZ), I might even be able to bore him for a few hours talking about my kids.:)

We should avoid politics, because depite our commonality, I am so sad that we probably differ in this area. :( But so do I and some of my best friends. :D

I have really enjoyed Blazer Boy's well traveled and politely worded posts on many a thead. And even though I have given up for permanent Lent ever posting on a dress code thread, I have to say I agree with BlazerBoy's fashion philosophy. How can you go wrong with a name like Blazer Boy !!!!

Canderson. I just spent 10 days with Phil at my right and I can assure you he has no wife. He is, however, an absolutely delightful dinner companion.:) There are many more of you that I would love to dine with and hope to in the future.

I would be oh so happy just to be at dinner on an X ship that I would love sitting next to whoever is on my right! As long as they are on this forum, of course. And there are just too many wonderful people on this board to select one from.

But if I had to, I would say...

that I would need more than one side!

At least you could count on him to be well-dressed on formal nights!!;)

Somehow, I got the impression a while back that he was the solo poster of a duo, much like myself. Glad to hear the good report on him, though;) . Seems we don't cruise with the hard core "regulars" here much, and we alway seem to have fairly low numbers for our CC parties onboard. Must be we have an odd preference for sail dates, as we are regulars during the early part of December.

Imagine my surprise!! I'm enjoying my chiled strawberry soup...and who do I find myself next to...CHESTERH :D .

Chester tells me about his last cruise...apparently he is going to tell me about this cruise over the next ten nights...and each night he is going to "hook" me with his final words, to make sure I sit next to him the following day...then I have to buy his book ;) .

Danno! Asking me to pick the food is hard enough, but asking me to pick only ONE dining companion is IMPOSSIBLE!

Maybe if I tip the Maitre d', I could get a table of forty?

Well, I get to dine and/or cocktail with a whole bunch of CC'ers on my next two cruises, so I won't mention them here...

And there are all my feathered friends...HOOT!

And Suzanne makes a compelling argument...(always enjoy your company on the boards as well:) )

But I just found out Phil's not married... (Kidding!!!) ;)

Danno, you're in the running- we can play "who's yacht club is more down-scale!":D

And Lois, Mari and I would have a lot of fun...

Nope, ya' can't make me choose- I just hope we ALL get to sail together at some point, because I enjoy knowing you all through these boards...

"kumbayah, my(?) lord, kumbayah..."

But I will take the Potato-Chevre Strata that I had on Infinity in September- WOW!

Yes, I was talking about the other Phil, but as to your marital status, who am I to assume anything????

It COULD be that you are Marty's 'escort!'

But, since she's so attractive, I might assume that she was yours!:D

;)

Earl, I would have been married years ago if my table manners weren't so bad. So, do you still want to dine with me?:D

Phil without the "lip";) Only joking other Phil!

Yeah, sure. Our 3 year old GS eats the center out of the french bread slices and wears the balance as a bracelet during the course of the meal -- his only peculiar dining habit that he refuses (thus far) to give up. Unless you can top that, we're good.:p

I keep wondering how we manage to pick so many cruises that don't ever include many of the hard core "regulars" here. Our annual preference is for something warm and in the 11~14 night category in early December before the masses appear for the holiday cruises, and the rest are more or less randomly dispersed into the better times for a given itinerary (read: less chance of rain - or worse!). It would be interesting to see the trends for some of the folks without countdown clocks. I can never remember the mentions from the individual posts. I see you're next linked up for Hawaii and the Caribbean with a strong future tendency to March travel. Any special reason?

Do I have to look to my right? Can't I look to my left as well? See,

I want a Phil on both sides:D I have met both of them in person

and they both love wine with dinner too;)

Cat, you mean a thread with something like

"Why Do You Pick A Certain Time To Cruise"?

I can never cruise at the beginning or end of any month...something

called work gets in the way:eek:
