Miami hotel suggestions 3 days before cruise

Hello,

 

We will be flying into Miami on a Friday night in April and not sailing until Monday am. Has anyone stayed for this long at a Hotel by the airport? If so, have you noticed a lot of sound at night or are the windows pretty thick? Also, how much would it be to get to bayside marketplace from here?

Is it worth to spend the extra money to stay at a downtown hotel?

Airport hotels are fine if you are arriving late and just want a room for the night; I cannot imagine spending 3 days there. :mad: Do yourself a favor and find a hotel in downtown Miami or Miami Beach with dining/shopping/nightlife within walking distance.

I would not stay in the airport area for three days if someone were paying me.

 

Downtown is better but for three days I would stay in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, or Fisher Island.
