louanddave Posted February 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Hello, Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in layout, balcony size etc. of the different suites in this category? I notice the same few cabins are always the last to be reserved? Planning a cruise and just would like an opinion. Thanks!
Rare BostonGal35 Posted February 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2017 following this as well - the cruise ship deck plans definitely make it appear that some are larger than others. def avoid handicap cabins, that much i know.
Two Wheels Only Posted February 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Most people avoid the 2 suites (deck 13) directly under the bridge because the balcony is obstructed/partially enclosed. Some avoid the lower decks because the forward view isn't as good when that low (blocked by the bow).
louanddave Posted February 21, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Thanks for the info, maybe Lower decks are last to go because people want to be closer to the Haven?
TSUmom Posted February 21, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2017 We were in PH 12706 on the Getaway last April. We loved the cabin. The Balcony is on the side of the ship and the bedroom had a window facing the front. One of our favorite cabins ever. We did not mind that we were not actually "in the Haven".
