Just wondering if anyone has emailed the maitre D on the sensation about changing or requesting seating for 2 as my husband and I are not very talkative and don't want to seem rude if placed at a dining table with others, I prefer just quiet time between us when we dine, if you have did they email you back or do I just wait till we are onboard to ask.

They are not required to reply to email. If you do not receive a reply after board the ship go to the MDR and check your seating. If you need a change staff should be at the desk by the main doors.

14 cruises, we have never emailed the maitre'd. We always dined late prior to YTD. Just go to the MDR and request a change, no big deal. The only interaction we have ever had with a maitre'd was on the Dream last year. We met another couple and became friends. They had late seating we had YTD. We requested they change to YTD so they could join us. At first he said it was sold out, which was ridiculous as the DR was 1/2 full. Funny, a $20 bill later, they were assigned YTD for the rest of the trip. And they say money doesn't buy love.

If you are "loners" do Anytime Dining....you are seated with ONLY your party.

I wouldn't say we are loners, I'm just a quiet kinda shy person and don't talk much, We just kinda keep to ourselfs,:)

Can I go onto my account and change to anytime dining? I don't recall it being offered when we booked cruise.
